Barry Cook Woodturning

I first started my hobby of woodturning about 25 years ago using an old Myford ML8 lathe that I spotted rusting away in a farmers barn, I bought it for just a few pounds and that was it, I was hooked. I enjoy all forms of turning but mainly pens, bowls and platters with decorated rims & natural edges,as a builder I have to turn bits & pieces for my building projects but I  prefer craft turning.  The following pages consist of galleries showing my  past work, one page dedicated to photos showing an engraved rim platter being made in maple, and a links page of websites of interest to woodturners. I hope you enjoy these pages.
